Eagle Lodge No. 19 – Bicentennial Commemoration

Join us on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. as we celebrate 200 years since the first Masonic meeting held in our historic Masonic Hall in Hillsborough.

In 1825, Eagle Lodge No. 19 convened its first meeting upon the completion of our cherished building. Over the centuries, this hall has served not only as a gathering place for Masons but also as a cornerstone of the Hillsborough community. To mark this momentous occasion, we warmly invite the public to join us in honoring our lodge’s legacy and the many ways our members have contributed to both Hillsborough and the state of North Carolina.

Event Highlights:

• Opening remarks from special guests and distinguished historical speakers

• Stories from the lodge's past and its impact on our community

• Light refreshments and traditional fare inspired by early 19th-century recipes

Masonic Members:
If you are a Mason in good standing and wish to attend the private meeting with the Grand Master of North Carolina, please register via Grandview. Space is limited.

Event Details: Cookout with Four Other Local Lodges

The Brothers of Eagle Lodge #19 are hosting a Masonic Family Cookout and would be honored for you and your family to attend. The last time we did this was in 2015 and it’s well past time to do it again. Let’s live by the Masonic motto of “Brotherly love and friendship” and enjoy some good food and even better fellowship!

 It is at New Hope Camp & Conference Center, Chapel Hill NC off NC86.

Eagle Lodge will provide the meat (BBQ chicken and hotdogs), cooking, and drinks. We’re asking everyone bring a covered dish or food item to share and donate $10 per adult and $5 per child under 12 to cover the cost of the facility rental, food, and drinks. Any leftover funds will be donated to charity.

There’s a large field at the facility with a volleyball court and basketball court nearby. Please bring balls, frisbees, corn hole, etc. There will be plenty of tables but you may also want to bring camp chairs and canopy tents for additional comfort. And this is a great opportunity to invite any guys petitioning your Lodge to show them what Masonry is all about.
